Pranayam - My Composition.

The song Pranayam is penned by Roshan. He is one of the Directors of the News Paper “Morning Bells” in Bangalore. He has done couple of Malayalam albums with Kaithapram Damodaran Namboothiri. When I saw the lyrics, this is the first tune that stroke in my mind, and the song was done in 5 or 10 mints. I had only one voice in my mind, and I am glad that I got that voice for the song which made the song rich!

Balqis who has sung this song is in Dubai, doing her Msc in Medical Biotechnology. I got this nice buddy and blessed talent from the online friend’s forum www.shyju.com.She was the winner of Emirates star search 2002. She was semifinalist in Voice of Arabia,Kairali TV Gandharva Sangeetham (conducted in UAE) runner up and many more awards.

Blogswara - United In Music

Amateur Musicians Go Professional!!!
Yes, the much awaited time has come...The d-day is arriving shortly, on The Dec12th Blogswara V5 is going LIVE!
Blogswara is an online Music Community which helps the Musicians to showcase their Talents through Original Songs created by them. Blogswara was released in May 2006!
From the first time I heard about this initiative, it was my burning desire to participate in any of its version, which came true with Blogswara V5.
One of the 14 songs in Blogswara V5 is my song which is a Kannada one. When I put a suggestion of making a song for Blogswara to Mr.Surya Prakash, an upcoming lyricist in the Kannada Film Industry, he was so excited and gave me full support for making this song and obviously through his blessed Pen. Mr.Krishnanunni who is a very talented Flautist gave me nice ideas for the song and when I approached Miss.Soumya R Krishnan to sing with me, she happily accepted and we recorded the song in my own Home Studio ;). And the result is our song "Manadali Yeke Mauna" in Blogswara V5.

Hi buddies,
An ever beautiful song from the Wonderful Music Director Sharath Sir, "Maya Manchalil". This song is from the film "Ottayal Pattalam". Lyrics by Shri. P K Gopi and beautifully rendered by Malayali's Venuchettan, the one and only G Venugopal whose almost all songs are big Hits in Malayalam Film Song World and Radhika Tilak.
I have tried to sing this song with one of the most talented and well established Blogger Meera Manohar I should say that I didn't want any one else to sing the female part other than Meera, as I am a BIG Fan of her songs "Kanda naal muthalayi" and "Ooradangum Samathile".
